At Jon Panos Tours, we understand that long haul destinations are an expensive undertaking and that you’ve saved long and hard to make the journey. It’s with this in mind that we bend over backwards to make sure that you get excellent value for money and that your arrangements will exceed all your expectations.

Our family has more than 150 years of combined tour industry experience within Southern Africa, so expect up to the minute expert product knowledge, attention to detail, dedication to service and the ability to cater for your special interests within any tour itinerary. Services

Bespoke tour designing service: We’ll hold your hand all the way from the sowing of the seed to the finalisation and booking of your tour and beyond. We’ll meet you at your first port of call in Southern Africa, keep tabs on you whilst you’re on tour and personally wish you ‘Tot Sien’s’ when you leave us. Every programme we handle is individually tailored and you may choose from a full spectrum of accommodation, tours, safaris, sightseeing, events, conferences, incentives and/or self drive and self catered villa holidays. We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver the best value for money in any price bracket.

Tour management: A director will be on call 24/7 whilst you're on tour. At a suitable point in your tour, a senior staff member or director will meet you.

Turnaround time: Once you have made initial contact, we will respond and send you your questionnaire within 12 hrs. As each itinerary is unique, researched and tailored we ask that you allow us adequate time to present the first draft of your itinerary.

Documentation: Detailed itineraries and full documentation including fact sheets, destination orientated travel tips, brochures, a list of books we suggest you should read and details of attractions you can visit in each area will be provided prior to your tour. You will receive free subscription to ‘Cosmos’, our electronic newsletter. Your personal interests are recorded on our database, so should we develop products that will appeal to you, we will send these to you.

Flights: We can arrange both your scheduled international and local flights so that a minimum of time is wasted during connections. We plan the most practical points of arrival and departure for you so that the best value is obtained on the most practical routings.

Partners: We only use top reliable transport operators; the best accommodation available in each price bracket; modern charter aircraft with fully instrument rated commercial pilots; flexible car rental companies with varied fleets.

Specialised guides: The specialised guides, at your disposal, will lead all special interest tours providing immense experience and knowledge.

Reconfirmations: We automatically reconfirm all flight, hotel and transport reservations for you.

Conferences, incentives, group tours and events: If required, a senior staff member will accompany your inspection visits when finalising venues, itineraries and other aspects of group bookings, conferences and/or incentives and then be on hand to provide service and back-up during the actual event. Innovative corporate gifts can be supplied on a highly competitive basis and we are equipped to handle all aspects of events, groups, incentives and conferences.

Excess baggage: As baggage is limited on some charter flights, we are equipped to handle excess baggage for you securely at a nominal charge.

Follow-up: Your feed-back is vital to us and our travel service extends to long after you have settled back at home.
